It would be great to have you join us at the 130th Masterton A & P Show.
Saturday 18th February is the only public day. For those interested in aviation, please note that the Wings Over Wairarapa Air Festival (mailto:http://www.wings.org.nz) is being held on 17th–19th February in Masterton. If you wish to extend your stay to take in the Air Show, we can arrange to billet animals through to Sunday afternoon if required.
The alpacas can be housed under cover in the sheep pavilion and can be left overnight from 5pm Friday evening. The Masterton A&P Association is unable to provide bedding for the pens but you are welcome to bring straw/paper for your own alpacas provided you clear the pens before leaving. There will be security at the site on Friday night.
We are again offering cash prizes for the Supreme Champion Huacaya and the Supreme Champion Suri fleeces.
There will be a barbeque following the breed judging on Saturday 18th February. This will be just $5 a head - pay on the day.
If you can’t attend the Show personally, please support us by entering fleeces.
We consistently have 50-60 fleece entries so there will be plenty of competition.
Accommodation is likely to be in short supply with the Wings Over Wairarapa Airshow being held on the same weekend as the A & P Show! If you require accommodation, it is recommended that you book early.
