BREED: Huacaya
COLOUR: Black

SIRE: Silverstone Ice Master
DAM: Silverstream Hersheys
STUD FEE: $1,200+GST

In his first six shows, Negus was placed first every time. SIRE: Coonawarra Dorchester
DAM: Pamabrae Cassalinga
STUD FEE: $500+GST

BREED: Huacaya
COLOUR: Solid Dark Brown

SIRE: Timbertop CT Grand Slam

DESCRIPTION/COMMENTS: With genetics including Patagonia Celtic Triumph and Canchones Fascination, Fang was  selected for his stay-fine genetics and his minimal guard hair.  To our delight, he is stamping his cria with both his square, solid frame and his thick, stylish fleece.  The first cohort were teddy bears in fawn, dark red bay and every shade of black, with flat along-fibre micron graphs suggesting they are going to keep their fine fleeces as they age.

DAM: Otaio Bridge Hinakura

DESCRIPTION/COMMENTS: Karaka has colored ILR Alpine Fiber’s Brutus genetics on his dam’s side, Cedar House Woolmaker 2 and Canchones Vorago through his sire.  We were attracted by the combination of his stay-fine fleece and his gentle, easy-handle demeanour – although true to his Brutus genetics, he’s keen as mustard when the girls are around!  With Pejo Harvest Moon as his sire, we’re also excited to see what colours he can produce.  His true roan son Otaio Bridge Kauri has been raking in the fleece awards down south.
