HISTORY OF ALPACAS
The Association's main aim is to raise the awareness of the general public of these fascinating animals. The alpaca is a truly remarkable animal that has been farmed in South America for over 6000 years. More information on the history of the alpaca!

ALPACA BREEDERS
Alpacas are ideally suited both to the small acreage of the lifestyle block or as an alternative enterprise on a larger property. Comprised of two primary regions in the North and South islands of New Zealand, the association has members throughout the country. Contact details of alpaca breeders in your area.

MAGAZINE
With such a widespread membership, communication is a key role for the association. Members receive a regular newsletter and three outstanding magazines each year. Order back copies or subscribe to the "New Zealand Alpaca"

CALENDAR OF EVENTS

IAR DATABASE
