Welcome to New Zealand's premier alpaca event and our 5th Annual National Show. This year we are expecting several hundred alpacas and over a hundred fleeces to showcase the New Zealand industry and the beauty and desirability of alpaca. Find out who our internationally reknown judges, Jill McLeod (Canada) and Lyn Dickson (Australia) consider to be of excellence, and ultimately, our elite.

The RDA Pavillion provides a warm, friendly environment to highlight the show arena, and there is ample free parking immediately adjacent to the building. Within the same facility, there is plenty of space for the promotional pens and trade sites that have been designed for excellent flow through and proximity to the action in the ring. Ample café seating throughout encourages the public to linger and enjoy all the fine alpaca products and there is a specialized area provided for those displaying equipment aligned to the alpaca industry.

Special attention is being paid this year to the fleece display, and it will be a rewarding experience to see the fineness and elegance that the exquisite alpaca fibre provides, and in such a wide variety of natural colours. Check out the Supreme Champion fleece from the inaugural World Alpaca Conference held in Sydney earlier this year, which will be on display in the fleece exhibition.

The National Show also provides exciting sponsorship opportunities for your business both through trade sites and promotional pens at the show, and also through publicity in the National Show Catalogue and on the Alpaca Expo website.

In the evenings join us at the relaxed and informal President's BBQ (Friday night), and on the Saturday, wine and dine at the Gala dinner in the fabulous Gondola restaurant on top of the Port Hills (www.gondola.co.nz)
